Potterycrafts Birch White Textured Stoneware Clay – 10kg Bag
A great mineral and water-based alternative to traditional clay, Potterycrafts Birch White Textured Stoneware Clay offers a similar look but with a softer texture. This versatile clay dries hard when exposed to air yet can be easily re-moulded with water, making it excellent for throwing, coiling, hand-building, modelling, and tile making.
Its textured surface gives character to your creations and makes it particularly suitable for decorative and functional work, including salt glazing. Once fired, it produces a warm buff finish with excellent strength and glaze response.

- Firing range: 1200–1270°C
- Shrinkage (wet to dry): 3–5%
- Shrinkage (dry to fired): 6–8%
- Thermal expansion: 0.26% at 500°C
- Texture: Medium / Textured (5 on a 1–10 scale)
- Fired colour: Buff
