This wheel feels pretty much the same to throw on as the shimpo's in my studio. I was deciding between this home studio wheel and the shimpo rk55, but decided to go for this since it has adjustible legs which makes it much more comfortable for me as I'm quite tall.
This wheel is exceptionally quiet, reliable, and stable. The control is superb, offering excellent precision and accuracy.
Ordered the wheel at 1pm on Monday, and it arrived in less than 24 hours! Had my first session using it this evening - it's so relaxing being able to throw at home in peace with my own music on!

I was torn between getting a Shimpo and this wheel, as my local studio uses a Shimpo Whisper T but in the end I decieded that i just couldnt quite justify the extra price fro the Shimpo. I'm so glad I decided to stick with the pottery people wheel as I am absolutely loving it! Doesn't slow down at all even when making fairly large peices and is really comfortable to use. Thanks guys!
