Returns

Shimpo Wheels, Tools, Clays and Accessories

Subject to our prior consent having been obtained, products can be returned to us in an unused condition within 30 days of invoice date. We do not charge a restocking or administration fee. However, return shipping must be paid for by you (unless the item arrived faulty or damaged).

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Kilns

Unfortunately, since many of the kilns that we sell are made to order, we cannot accept returns unless the item is faulty or arrives damaged.

The Pottery People Wheels

Delivery

  • Delivery is free within the UK.

  • Orders are normally dispatched next working day.

  • Delivery typically takes 2–5 working days.

  • All wheels are shipped using a tracked courier service.


Home Trial & Returns

We offer a home trial on pottery wheels with the following conditions:

  • Used wheels may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of delivery.

  • Unused wheels may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of delivery.


Return Conditions

Used Returns (up to 14 days)

  • The return must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

  • The wheel may have been used during this period.

  • The wheel must be returned in reasonable condition, allowing for normal use.

Unused Returns (up to 30 days)

  • The return must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

  • The wheel must be unused and returned in its original condition.

For all returns:

  • Original packaging should be used where possible.

  • We will arrange collection once the return is approved.

  • A full refund will be issued after the wheel has been received and checked.


Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Refunds are processed after the returned wheel has been received and inspected.

 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
