Warranty Policy
We pride ourselves in getting issues sorted promptly and completely. We won't stop until you are 100% happy.
All of or products come with the manufacturer's warranty, plus our 1-year Pottery People Extended Warranty.
Specific warranty policy depends on the manufacturer of the product.
Shimpo Wheels: 2 years manufacturer warranty + 1 year The Pottery People warranty
Kilns & Furnaces LTD: 1 year manufacturer warranty + 1 year The Pottery People warranty
Kilncare LTD: 3 years manufacturer warranty + 1 year The Pottery People warranty
Our warranty process:
(Applies to both manufacturer's warranty and The Pottery People Warranty)
- Call or email us, giving details of the issue you are having.
- We will help you with first-line troubleshooting to see if we can fix the issue
- If we are unable to fix the issue, we will escalate to the manufacturer. They will either give us further advice on how to fix the problem, or decide that the product needs to be fixed or replaced.
- We will arrange for an engineer to come and fix the item, or arrange for a courier to pick up the item and replace it with a new one.
We only stock products from suppliers with a very good reputation. We make it our absolute priority to get issues sorted quickly and completely.
If you are having issues with your wheel or kiln and you are within your warranty period, contact us at info@thepotterypeople.co.uk. We can discuss replacing or repairing your equipment.
If you are having issues and you are outside of your warranty period, reach out to us anyway and we will do our best to aid you with your problem.
