The Potclays EP Kiln, Built for Busy Studios and Classrooms
Made in Potclays' own factory in Stoke-on-Trent, the EP range shares the same robust angle iron frame construction as their flagship Gold kilns, which makes them extremely durable and long lasting.
What sets the EP apart is a 115mm wall thickness, giving you a lower capital cost and a noticeably faster cooling rate than the thicker-walled Gold range.
That faster cooling can make a big difference in practice. In a busy studio, multiple loads a week, less time waiting for a kiln to cool is more time actually using it.
Combined with a strong capacity-to-price ratio, the EP is built specifically for environments where the kiln needs to work hard, not sit as a showpiece.
