White Crank Clay Body

Texture: 6 (Smooth 1 → Coarse 10)

White Crank is a white-firing clay body based on a blend of ball clay and china clay, with graded molochite grogs added to improve strength and thermal stability.

The grogged structure makes this body particularly well suited to large forms, slab work and tile production, where resistance to warping and cracking is important. It can be fired to stoneware temperatures and is also suitable for raku applications.

Indicative total contraction at 1200°C: approximately 10%*
