🔥 Firing Guide

Firing range: Cone 06 – Cone 04 (999 – 1060 °C).

Application: Apply 2–3 even coats to bisque-fired earthenware (cone 04) using a soft fan brush (such as Mayco CB-604 #4 or CB-618 #8).

Mix well: Crystals settle naturally — shake and stir often while applying.

Placement matters: The crystal blooms appear where you place them. Avoid clustering crystals near the base of vertical pieces, as they may flow and stick to kiln shelves.

At higher temperatures (up to cone 6): Base colours remain but crystals move more — producing increased flow and softer edges. Always test first on your clay body.

Designed for decorative ware only due to natural crazing and surface texture.

While many colours are certified AP Non-Toxic, a few shades carry a CL caution label due to copper or barium content — always check the label.

Not recommended for dinnerware unless surface texture has fully smoothed after firing to mid-range temperatures.
